Who are we looking for? 

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA engineer who will join the team and make a real impact to a thriving and ever-growing company about to take its next step in its growth journey.

What will you be doing day-to-day?  

• Coach and mentor other QA’s to ensure best practices for automation and testing are being followed and implemented effectively 
• Facilitate and participate in building test strategy and roll out
• Work with other QAs to assess if the testing strategy is effective and suggests improvements
• Implement testing strategies 
• Coaching and mentoring
• Code implementation
• Code review
• CI/CD
• Participation in agile ceremonies and assisting pen testers
• Creating documentation and knowledge sharing
• Identify, test and champion the adoption of emerging technologies

What you’ll need: 

• Experience of Java (Java 8 Minimum)
• Evidential experience of using industry best practice regarding automated testing (Junit, Cucumber, Selenium, page object model)
• Experience of SQL
• Evidential experience of industry best pracrice regarding CI/CD.
• Experience using version control (GIT ideally)
• Agile methodologies 
• Experience with JIRA, or a similar tool.

• This role is hybrid from either our Manchester or Newbury office.
